We didn’t start PlanUmma because we wanted to build yet another productivity app. We started it because we were tired of complicated schedules. The feeling that planning your day should be simple… but somehow never is.
You open a to-do list and suddenly, it’s too much. Too many tasks. Too many reminders. Too many things that make you feel like you’re already behind before the day even starts.
And when life already feels full, that additional pressure doesn’t help. So we wanted to build something different. Something calmer. Something that helps you stay consistent without making you feel overwhelmed by your own life.
That’s how PlanUmma came to life.
It’s not trying to “hack” your productivity or turn you into a machine. It’s just here to help you move through your day with a bit more clarity and less noise. Distraction-free.
Inside the app, you can keep things simple:
You can plan your tasks in a way that actually fits real life; not perfect life.
Whether it’s something you need to do once, something that repeats, or something you’re trying to turn into a habit, it’s all kept in one place in a visually calm way.
And if you like structure and want to gather smaller related tasks under a main one, you can break tasks into categories so your mind isn’t constantly juggling everything at once.

There’s also a clear overview of your tasks, so you’re not guessing what’s next or worrying about what you’ve forgotten.
You can quickly see what’s coming up in the next 7 days, which helps take a lot of pressure off.

Get notified of what’s coming up.
For the days where life gets busy and things slip your mind, there are gentle notifications and alerts; not stressful, just enough to keep you grounded.
But PlanUmma isn’t only about tasks.
Real life isn’t only about tasks.
Write notes to organize your thoughts.
There’s a notes section where you can write whatever you want. You can add images, checkboxes, and labels so your notes don’t turn into another messy pile you never look at again.

There’s a mood tracker to track your daily emotions.
The mood tracker is a simple daily check-in. It gives you a moment to pause and notice how you’re feeling, with the option to reflect or write a note about your day.
Over time, you can look back and actually see patterns in your monthly mood; not just guess how your weeks have been.

And if you want to keep track of Islamic dates, there’s a built-in Hijri calendar.
The Hijri dates on the dashboard help you stay on track of important dates and moments throughout the year.

PlanUmma has automatic synchronization across devices.
Everything syncs automatically, and you can back up your data manually whenever you want; no stress about losing anything.

Zero ads.
Yes, you read that right. There are absolutely no ads in the PlanUmma app. That’s true for both free and premium accounts. We meant it when we said distraction-free.
We wanted PlanUmma to be resourceful so you don’t feel the need to juggle between multiple apps, but it was also important for us to keep it clutter-free, calm and simple. It is an app that quietly supports you in the background while you get on with your life.
If PlanUmma helps you feel even a little more organized, a little more in control or a little more calm in your day… then that’s exactly what it was built for.
Thank you for being here at the start of this journey and we pray that PlanUmma makes planning your life easier.
